Greg LeovGreg is Justin’s Dad. Greg has a long history with the sport of mountain biking. Including the following…

Event organiser for MTBNZ, which is part of BikeNZ. This involves organising events on a National  scale for downhill and cross-country throughout New Zealand. He is the Junior Development Officer for MTBNZ and Team Manager for National NZ Mountain biking teams (both XC and DH) that have represented New Zealand in Rotorua, Fort William in Scotland and Thredbo in Australia.

Greg is excited about the new ventures with Bike Otago and has already made contributions to the local Otago MTB community by being on the Mountain Biking Otago committee. Greg has helped to build a new XC track up at Signal Hill and has been on the Mountain Biking Otago digger forming the car park for the Wakari track and extending this track.


Justin

Justin LeovJustin has been racing internationally since 2002 and has been riding professionally since 2006. Last year he signed a two-year deal with Trek World Racing.  Justin spends six months of the year racing his Trek Session downhill bike in the UCI World Cup Series and at the World Championships. Go to justinleov.com for updates on his racing. He spends his off-season time in New Zealand helping his family at Bike Otago as a mechanic and selling bikes. Justin is also a qualified mountain bike skills coach and has helped many local riders to improve their skills. Nola

Nola LeovNola is Greg’s wife and Justin’s Mum. She has helped out with many local mountain bike events in many roles, whether as a marshall or helping with timing, Nola trained as a National MTB Commissaire in 2003 and has helped out at many MTB National events with the latest being the Otago Peninsula Challenge and Bike Otago’s own XC Bike Otago Winter Series races. Nola is the overall manager of Bike Otago and is always happy to chat to customers and help them out with whatever they require.
