Bike Otago Workshop will continue

Bike Otago will be carrying on servicing and repairing bikes from Nola and Greg`s workshop at home. We are happy to pick up your bikes and deliver them back to your home. Servicing will be done by appointment. Please ring 4767700 or 4777396 or email us  at-     bikeotago@xtra.co.nz   to make an appointment.  We enjoy repairing electric bikes too.  We can order new  bikes for you if you require one.

Here are the results of Round 4  of Bike Otago`s Cross Country Series held at Wakari Creek on Sunday 21st August. Thank you to all the competitors who came along. We look forward to holding another Series next winter.

Otago`s Sportsperson for June 2011 Awarded to Justin

Congratulations to Justin for being awarded a voucher for $100 and certificate from Russell Fowler from Stirling Sports Dunedin today for being Otago`s Sportsperson for the month of June 2011. He was awarded this due to his tremendous effort in coming 8th in the Downhill UCI MTB  World Cup held in Austria on June 12th.

Justin is currently ranked 10th in the World  for the UCI World Cup rankings. He travels to France for the next World Cup in La Bresse on August 7th this coming weekend. We wish him well.

Wakari Creek Track in the Snow 25th July 2011

Justin Leov, ,Tory Holmes , Greg Leov  and Joel Anderson rode their mountain bikes around the Wakari Track today in the snow. Tory described it as looking like a scene from Nania. While most people in Dunedin were snowed in and unable to go to work, they managed to still have fun riding their bikes.
