Bike Otago is our dream store!

We opened February 2, 2009 with a philosophy inspired by our own experiences gained when dealing with other stores throughout our biking history.

Some of those experiences were good and some bad, but we took them all and set out to make a bike shop that truly is the people’s store.

It’s not just a place to buy, but a place to linger, look, touch and share ideas. We love talking about anything to do with bikes.

We don’t claim to know it all and are always looking to learn from our customers – many of whom become friendly faces that we see monthly, weekly and, yes, sometimes, even daily.

It is important to us that our customers find the right bike or products, so we listen to what you want and then use our knowledge to match you with the right product. You then have an option to take the bike on an overnight trial just to make sure. We also offer a 3-day right of exchange to ensure we get you onto the bike that meets your needs.

If we don’t have it we’ll get it! So if you are looking for something special – maybe a pretty piece of bling for your bike – then we will do our best to get it for you. Just ask our friendly team.
