Bike Otago Jerseys
Yup, they're finally here - well, almost. These are the prototypes of our new Bike Otago Racing jerseys which we've been designing with help from our customers. We're taking pre-orders for the production jerseys which will be selling at $60 each, so if you'd like to have a look or put your name down, just order through the website here
These jerseys have a slightly loose cut and are good for DH/trail riding as well as general-purpose use. In the near future we'll be getting some lycra designs for our XC race whippets and roadies!
Available in all sizes, and either colour is available in long or short sleeve. 
Blingfest 2014
We've got three pieces of proper bike bling sitting on our fancy-cabinet. First is a pair of Crank Bros Candy 11 pedals - anodized titanium, needle-bearings, and other drool-worthy features, and weighing only 226g per pair! Second is a Ritchey WCS full-carbon 29er fork, only 600 grams and stiffer than a very stiff thing indeed. The best thing we've got in right now, however, is a set of brand new super-awesome Bike Otago stickers, weighing an insane 0.04 grams each! Riding lights now in!
The rain has gone and the sun has returned to Dunedin, but the days are definitely getting shorter! We've just got in a new range of Cateye lights - all the way from little $15 clip-ons to proper blinders! We've also got sets from $29-$59 and the full complement of Lezyne lights too.
In the near future we'll be getting in some top-end mountain-biking lights such as Exposure and Gloworm to keep us all riding through winter (and through the Naseby 12hr)- let us know what brands/models you'd like to see in the shop and we'll get on it!
Win a Hammerhead frame at the Cardrona Enduro
Bike Otago and Hammerhead have teamed up to give away a free Hammerhead 130X frame at the Giant 2W Cardrona Extreme Gravity Enduro.

Getting Ready for Single Speed Champs
We've just got some great Surly kit in, perfect for the Single Speed Champs which is being hosted in Dunedin on 26th April - chainrings, sprockets and tensioners, as well as single chainring bolts and a selection of chains.
Lewis has been testing the Surly stuff on his On-One pictured, and really rates it - the drivetrain feels smooth and silent, the tensioner has a strong action with no chain slap, and the stainless sprockets and rings will last forever.
We'll be adding this kit to our online shop soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
Dunedin Balance Bike Championships
Parents and toddlers enjoyed a really fun balance bike event last Saturday at the Dunedin BMX club track. There were categories for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. Not all the kids really understood the point of it, but that didn't seem to matter. Everyone had a great time and I think all the kids slept extra well that night!
We sponsored the event and gave away a free Cruzee balance bike, as riding by Jasper in the photos/video. Anyone interested in one should come in soon, as we have a few left at the promo price of $150 (normally $189).
Training the moves for Naseby 12hr
With under 2 months to go until the big day, we figured people need some extra motivation for their training. It may also come in handy to select the right riding kit?
